This began in a back hallway with police reportedly slamming a woman against the wall (photo: nick nice eye witness) claiming she was resisting arrest. While being escorted to an elevator that drops into the basement of the capitol, Sam Mayfield another reporter was drug into it and arrested for asking questions about the arrest.

Sarah Palin gets a warm Wisconsin welcome 4.16.11

I have never seen WI residents this angry, 2 hours crashing the Tea Party; PRICELESS. Our cries continue to be ignored, rights trampled and votes stolen... A Palin rally on our turf was a good place to blow off some steam. I was here.

We outnumbered them 6:1 at least. We drown out Palin and all others. We accomplished our goal with non-violence. It was not for the faint of heart. It was good for me to see what a sad little showing they had. I fully believe they planted agitators in the crowd, a few of whom made me very worried. The Americans for Prosperity security had bulletproof vests under neon green T's, I watched them bully grandmothers, it was a hard place to be. Media loves em and they barely exist, Strange $$$$. The show is impressive, tight camera angles so you cannot see the opposition, money to control the message and a large population of people who believe everything they read and see. Saturday was another dark comedy showing us this country is being played, bought and destroyed by a small group of billionaires. We all have way more important things to do, BUT we will never accept these corporate power plays here in WI, OUR VOICES WILL BE HEARD!

Recap of the day from a journalist who was actually there:

Friday the world knows and forces multiply

With the Democratic Senators gone until Walker talks to the people with respect....
the bill is stalled. Solidarity is clear.
A movement is born, the working class continue to fight back.
The state is becoming more united, Walker supporters are quiet today.
